Firstly we would like to thank you for you custom here at Platinum Car Centre, We hope that you have had a satisfactory buying experience with our Sales Team and also that you have had the opportunity to discuss our warranty or extended warranty that is available to you.

Here at Platinum Car Centre we have a dedicated after sales team, Their job is to ensure that any warranty issues are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner.
Should your new vehicle have an issue we also have Autoguard Warranty Company on hand to cover repairs on your new vehicle UK Wide.

Warranties we supply on our sold vehicles are either in House or Through the Autoguard Warranties will be discussed at point of sale.

We advise that all customers take out relevant breakdown cover before collecting their new vehicle in line with their insurance product.

I have an issue with my new car, How do I use my Autoguard warranty?

  • You will firstly need to check your email inbox for the Autoguard warranty email
  • Next you will need to check that you are within your given warranty timeframe
  • Contact Autoguard warranty on 03432 271499 OR [email protected]
  • Please provide them as many details regarding the issue and also your policy number
  • They will advise you of the next steps to ensure your car is fixed under warranty at a vat registered garage near you.
  • You can also submit a claim via the online system  www.autoguardwarranties.com/claims/

What warranty did my car come with?

  • Any Vehicle sold as Spares or repairs/Off road use only will need to be towed away from the Premises, In line with the current VOSA Guidance also are not supplied with warranty
  • Cars under £2995 will come with a 30day engine + gearbox inhouse warranty*
  • Cars over £2995 will come with a 3 month / 3000 miles Autoguard warranty*

I purchased an extended warranty

  • We supply our original warranty with any purchased extended warranty, So if you have purchased 12months warranty, You now have a total of 15months warranty for £425.
  • Remember with the extended warranty there is no mileage restrictions, unlimited number of claims upto the value of your vehicle, parts & labour are included.

Can I purchase an even longer warranty?

  • There are options to extend up to 3 years with the current offer of £425 being for 15 Months of Cover ( Subject to vehicle and status)

I purchased a car without seeing it (distance sale)

  • All Distance Sales are subject to a 14 Day cooling off Period only
  • Any transport or delivery costs are the responsibility of the Customer
  • It is their responsibility of the customer to return the vehicle to us.

What’s Covered with Autoguard warranties

There are literally thousands of mechanical and electrical parts which go into making a typical car, van or 4×4. In order to claim to be the UK’s highest level of warranty cover, we have to provide cover for all of them!

The deal is simple, you make sure your car is serviced correctly and has no known faults when you take out the cover, and we will pay for any subsequent faults covered by the warranty. It couldn’t be more simple or transparent.

I have designed this warranty to cover the cost of repairing your car when something goes wrong. We understand that feeling of dread when your car needs a repair, as a gargantuan repair bill can really throw the proverbial spanner in the works.

We will cover you if a part stops working and requires immediate repair or replacement before it will work again. We’ll also cover you if that part simply isn’t working properly (after 30 days or 1,000 miles and up to 10 years old or 100,000 miles) and is likely to break down before the expiry of your plan. This is the fairest way!

Repairs at Approved Repairer, Main Dealer or Local Garage.

You select the Labour Rate you need and then use any VAT registered repairer of your choice. Or, if you prefer we do have approved repairers we can recommend with national account facilities.

Protection up to the retail value of your car at the time you take out the warranty.

Your car will depreciate over time, but the value and use of our https://www.autoguardwarranties.com/ e plan won’t. Whenever you make a claim you’re still protected the same as you were when you first took out the plan with us.

No limit to the number of repairs.

There’s no limit to the number of repairs you can make, and you’re covered up to the retail value of your vehicle throughout.

All Vehicles under the Value of £2500 will come with a 30 day Engine and Gearbox warranty Only.

Warranty Plans will be disclosed at point of sale.

Any Vehicle sold as Spares or repairs/Off road use only will need to be towed away from the Premesis, in Guidance with the VOSA Guidance.

It is the responsibility of the customer to return the vehicle to Platinum should any repairs need to be completed.

*Warranty system sheduled from 01/11/2018

All Distance Sales are subject to a 14 Day Period ONLY, any transport or delivery costs are the resposibility of the Customer and it is their responsibilty to return the vehcile to us.

All Reservation or Holding Fees are Refundable if the vehicle is not as described, if you would like a video walkaround or extra pictures please ask us before placing a Holding/Reservation FEE. This is Valid for 7 Working Days.
